Good animals are nice, too. This is one of my new friends - my mom's cat Cooper.
We all have wonderful things happening all the time. Sometimes to really appreciate how special these moments are, we need to take the time to record them. This is a space to do just that!

One weekend: many good friends
I had an unusually social weekend where I got to spend time with a lot of wonderful friends on separate occasions. Two of the friends I've known since I was in junior high school. Spending time with close friends and good people just does wonders for me.

Friend is the precious asset a person can treasure for life, but I'm not able to experience it. I do not have any friend and it's really sad. My life is all about my children. Finally, they reach their adulthood and I'm lost in air. Luckily, I have people at work and at school and my pets at home keep me company to enrich my life. I hope I have the right verse, "a friend in need is a friend in deed" ???
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that friends are precious. And sometimes I feel lucky to have such good friends and other times I feel like I have no friends and it is a sad feeling. You got the expression right about friends "A friend in need is a friend in deed." Although I always thought it was "A friend in need is a friend, indeed!" I'm not sure which one it is. They mean different things, but they both make sense…Remember, there are always new friends around the corner. :-)
DeleteOh my gosh! Is he a tuxedo cat? How cute! He looks like he is trying to shake hands with the viewers, but really he's just lazily pawing at the camera isn't he? I don't really meet my friends that often either. Two of them are trying to get into med. school and the other is in Australia studying to be a vet. I really enjoy my quarter breaks because that's pretty much the only time I get to see them.
ReplyDeleteYes, he is a tuxedo cat! :-) His name is Cooper and he's just the sweetest thing… I think as we get older (at least in my experience), we still make new friends and see old friends, but because people start doing their own thing and moving different places, we just have to schedule and plan to make sure we see our friends…Are you going to Australia to visit your friend?? That would be a great trip!
